FAQ's Mowers

Husqvarna mowers are all 4 stroke and the oil level should be checked before use.  Only an occasional top up should be needed.  You should get the oil changed annually regardless of hours used.

Rotary blades cut by brute force and do not need sharpening.  Once the flutes are worn down they should be replaced to maintain a quality cut.

All mowers with belts and pulleys that are used in normal conditions will see many hours of belt time.  However when overloading the belt by cutting extremely thick and long grass at a fast pace, the belt life will be limited. By lifting the deck to a higher cutting level, and cutting at a slower speed, the belt will have a better chance of lasting longer.  Sticks, honky nuts and misaligned pulleys are other common causes for belts to break or come off.
